The Group Chat was created by Ishmael McKinney, Courtney Neal (Jarrett), Brittney Neal (Jarrett) and Brooke Neal (Jarrett). The idea of hosting a talk show originated from the Neal's father, Jeff Neal. Jeff noticed that there were many media platforms that voiced opinions related to current events, urban culture, music, art and more. However he noticed that these platforms weren't relatable to young adults. From this epiphany the Group Chat was created. The Neal's and Ishmael came together to make this idea HAPPEN! Gathering close friends from Dayton, Ohio to create and shoot dope content representing the younger generations.

Director: Brooke Neal (Jarrett) (not pictured). Brooke is a freelance photographer and co-founder of P.L.U.HF Media, a media group comprised of photographers and videographers. She has a Bachelor degree in Mass communication from Wright State University. Brooke is shifting towards lifestyle photography and plan on doing more independent projects to express her personal interests and shooting style. She's worked with well-known hip hop artists, photographers, poets and black leaders across Ohio.
